IDRE’s first quarter as asset managers: What has been Accomplished?
After a competitive search, IDRE were unveiled as the new asset managers of Stakehill Industrial Estate’in Januray 2025. We take a look at what has been accoomplished in the first quarter and what makes Stakehill Industrial Estate one of the premier North West locations.
Stakehill Industrial Estate has great access to the motorway network from juntion 20 of the M60, providing great access into labour pools of Oldham, Rochdale, Middleton and Manchester, as well as easy access across the Pennines into Leeds.
Since IDRE have been instructed the estate has seen significant progress and improvements which include;
Completed refurbishment upgrades to vacant units, these are now available and include;
Unit 7, which provides 5,942 sq.ft
Unit 8, which provides 5,899 sq.ft
Units 7 & 8 combined, which provides 11,841 sq.ft, and
Electron, which provides 82,506 sq.ft
A full ESG review of assets to help us devise a roadmap for improvements in the short, medium and long-term.
Engagement with occupiers to make sure we are providing the best estate we can for the occupiers we have and future occupiers.
Completing outstanding regears with occupiers and using this as an opportunity to provide improvements that align with their current and future needs.
Plans for a new onsite cafe to upgrade the current Rafters Cafe offering improved amenity for our tenants.
Engagement with the Stakehill BID, which aims to improve the estates environment including the planting of new trees.

Atom Valley is a Mayoral Development Zone that was launched in August 2022, it aims to be transformative initiative designed to establish a dynamic, interconnected manufacturing mega-cluster in Greater Manchester, which looks to blend world-class industry with cutting-edge research and development. This will us to put Stakehill Industrial Estate at the forefront of industrial advancement, providing plenty of opportunities and financial incentives for businesses to advance and thrive.
